The Esther and Alcide Ruffini Fourth of July Concert

Classical radio host for WGBH and WCRB, reading excerpts from the Declaration of Independence accompanied by the orchestra. 

The Plymouth High Schools Marching Band join the orchestra for the finale to the ‘1812 Overture.’

The Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra kicks off its 102nd season with a free, festive, family-friendly concert celebrating the nation's birthday!  Steven Karidoyanes conducts a happy mix of patriotic, stage and film music.  Highlights include a reading of the Declaration of Independence by radio broadcaster, Laura Carlo, the playing of Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture" and a patriotic sing-along (with lyrics accessible online via smart phone or tablet.)
