The Phil is reaching more people—LIVE!—through the power of the internet. Thanks to a partnership with the Talking Information Center (TIC), their listeners experienced live broadcasts of our October concert, Flavors of Spain and Italy, and our Holiday Pops. TIC is a nonprofit organization that broadcasts local news, articles, and other items of interest to visually-impaired and otherwise disabled listeners throughout Massachusetts to promote independence and enrich the quality of their lives. The fall concert featured classical guitarist Eliot Fisk (shown) performing Joaquín Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez. Since the age of three, the Spanish composer was nearly blind, so that piece was particularly meaningful to TIC listeners.
